As an elementary school teacher and university instructor, Sharon has

shared her love of folksongs and folktales with hundreds of students

for over 35 years.  In her workshops she shares information and

activities for integrating storytelling and story writing into the elemen-

tary curriculum.

Sharon weaves her talents as a storyteller and reading specialist into

her teaching of language arts strategies for children and adults of all

ages.  Her workshop activities integrate art, music and storytelling to

help young people develop oral language skills, self-confidence and

a lifelong interest in reading.

"Sing Softly with Sharon: Lullabies from Around the World" and "Sing

Silly with Sharon" are two of Sharon's CDs for children of all ages.

GQ GQ. WHERE ARE YOU? ADVENTURES OF A GAMBEL'S QUAIL is the title of Sharon's first children's book

which will be published in Spring, 2013.  Follow GQ as he explores the Sonoran desert in which he lives.   Nadia

Komorova's beautiful illustrations will be enjoyed by all who read this unique story.  The CD which comes with
